Do my guests need an app?
No, not at all. Your guests scan a QR code or open a link on their phone. Everything works directly in the browser — no download, no registration, no hassle.
Is my guests' privacy protected?
Absolutely. Your guestbook is secured with a unique link and optionally a password. Only people you share the link with can view the messages. We never sell or rent your data to third parties — see our privacy policy for the necessary processors (hosting & payments).
Can I download the messages?
Yes, you can download each message individually as MP3 (audio), MP4 (video and waveform) or PNG (text messages). You can also download everything at once as a ZIP file — per type or all together.
How long are my messages stored?
Your messages remain available until 1 year after the event date. You'll receive a timely reminder to download everything. We recommend always saving your favorite messages locally.
What does it cost?
You can start for free with an upload-only guestbook. The Starter plan offers extended upload capabilities for €24,99 per event. The Essential plan with audio, video and uploads costs €64,99 per event. You pay per event, no subscription.
Can I set a greeting message?
Yes! You can record or upload a personal greeting that your guests see before recording their message. For example: "Dear guests, leave a personal message for us!"
What is the fair use policy?
Fair use simply means we apply generous limits so everyone can upload smoothly. With the Starter and Essential plan you get 200 GB of storage and up to 3 GB per file — more than enough for a large event. There is no strict limit on the number of files, only a maximum of 10,000 per event to prevent abuse.
Can guests also record video?
Yes! You can offer audio and video as separate channels within the same event. Guests choose whether they want to leave an audio or video message.
Until when can guests leave something?
Guests can leave audio, video and text messages from the moment your guestbook is activated until 7 days after the event date (the default period). Photos and files can still be uploaded until 6 months after the event. After that, everything stays available for you to view and download until 1 year after the event date.
