Do my guests need an app?
No, not at all. Your guests scan a QR code or open a link on their phone. Everything works directly in the browser — no download, no registration, no hassle.
Is my guests' privacy protected?
Absolutely. Your guestbook is secured with a unique link and optionally a password. Only people you share the link with can view the messages. We never sell or rent your data to third parties — see our privacy policy for the necessary processors (hosting & payments).
Can I download the messages?
Yes, you can download each message individually as MP3 (audio) or MP4 (video and waveform). You can also download everything at once as a ZIP file — per type or all together.
How long are my messages stored?
Your messages remain available until 1 year after the event date. You'll receive a timely reminder to download everything. We recommend always saving your favorite messages locally.
What does it cost?
You can start for free with an upload-only guestbook. The Starter plan offers extended upload capabilities for €24.99 per event. The Essential plan with audio, video and uploads costs €64.99 per event. You pay per event, no subscription.
Can I set a greeting message?
Yes! You can record or upload a personal greeting that your guests see before recording their message. For example: "Dear guests, leave a personal message for us!"
Can I customize the look?
Absolutely. Choose from 10+ themes, customize fonts, upload a cover photo and set your own hashtag. All via the Event wizard — no technical skills needed.
Can I set a password?
Yes. You can set an optional password so only invited guests have access to your guestbook.
How many guests can leave messages?
There is no limit on the number of guests. Anyone with the link can leave a message. You can receive up to 10,000 messages per event.
How do guests access the link?
Via a QR code on the table, a link in WhatsApp, or a QR card with the invitation. One link for everything — guests choose how they want to leave a message.
What is the difference with a physical audio phone?
A physical phone costs €120-250 per event and only offers audio. With Lovetone you get audio, video and photo uploads together for €64.99 — and guests use their own phone.
