- Open the guestbook. A scan or a click opens the guestbook with your photo, names and date.
- The phone rings. A tap on the call button starts the call. Your guest knows the message begins after the beep.
- Your greeting. Your guest first hears your own welcome message. It feels personal from the start.
- A personal message. After the greeting, your guest speaks. The recording waveform follows their voice.
- Add a name. Your guest adds a name, so you know who left the message.
- Save and listen again. Once saved, your guest can listen again straight away. You find the message in your guestbook.
Set a maximum recording duration so messages don't get too long. From 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Download messages as MP3 or as waveform video (MP4). Or download everything at once as ZIP.

Questions about the audio guestbook
Does the audio guestbook work for older guests too?
Yes. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera, tap the call button and speak after the beep, just like an ordinary phone call. No app, account or password is needed. The phone only asks once for permission to use the microphone.
What is the difference with a physical audio phone?
A physical phone costs €120-250 per event and only offers audio. With Lovetone you get audio, video and photo uploads together for €64,99 — and guests use their own phone.
What format are audio messages saved in?
Audio messages are saved as MP3 for optimal compatibility. The original file (WebM) is also preserved. Additionally, a waveform image and video are automatically generated.
Can I customize the waveform style?
Yes! There are five waveform styles available. You choose a style in the Event wizard, along with a background image and color. Every audio message becomes a visual artwork.
